Our philosophy

An Integrative Approach to Health and Well Being.

It is our aim to empower you to improve your health, well-being and life, wherever you may be on the spectrum.

Part of the value of science is to raise awareness by understanding the powerful effects of nutrition and lifestyle choices made each day—and how changing these may significantly, sometimes dramatically, improve one’s health and well-being. In many cases, these improvements may occur far quicker than previously thought possible. There is an increased awareness of the direct link between what we eat and one’s state of health – something many traditional cultures have always known.

At Coyne Healthcare we promote a nutritional approach that not only supports overall health, but also equips you with tools to achieve overall well-being.

Our Approach

Coyne Healthcare advocates a proactive, integrated scientific and cutting edge approach to optimal health. We are committed to connecting and empowering those who seek to take responsibility for their health and transform their lives.  We are more powerful than we could ever imagine, our bodies’ inherent intelligence is so beautifully designed and we need to become aware and awake to our natural law.

There is nothing more powerful than understanding your own body, equip yourself with the best knowledge and tools and get into the best possible shape of “health”!

Bio-Curcumin

Curcumin is a polyphenolic compound derived from the dietary spice turmeric. Turmeric (Curcume Longa) is a bright yellow ancient spice native to Asian countries and it has been used as a traditional remedy dating back 600 BC.

Curcumin is one of today’s most exciting dietary food supplements, impressing scientists around the world with its remarkable multiple clinical applications, health benefits and as a disease fighting agent.

Nearly 700 studies from all around the world confirm the remarkable properties of Curcumin.

Bio-Curcumin utilises BCM-95 in its supplement. BCM-95 has been scientifically proven to be the most efficient and effective way to supplement with Curcumin.

It is important when choosing a Curcumin supplement to understand the facts, absorption and quality of the product.

This is why we have chosen to use the world’s marketing leading Curcumin in the production of Bio-Curcumin.

Bio-Curcumin was introduced to South Africa in 2013. It is available as a Dietary Food Supplement through pharmacies, health food stores and medical practitioners.

Felix

Saffron is well known for its culinary gift as a spice. However it has also traditionally been used as a medicine. Modern science through clinical studies is now confirming saffron’s ability to enhance mood and its anti-depressant qualities. This research has led to the production of specialised extracts, medicines and food supplements.

Felix utilises a clinically studied, proprietary extract of saffron called Satiereal developed by French laboratory Inoreal.

Felix was introduced to South Africa in 2014. It is available as a dietary food supplement through pharmacies, health food stores and medical practitioners.

Salvestrol

Salvestrols are naturally occurring compounds (phytonutrients) found in fruit and vegetables, essential for human wellbeing and hailed as having a significantly powerful impact on fighting disease.

The human body does not produce Salvestrols, and must therefore be supplied through our diet. It is believed our modern diet is deficient in Salvestrols due to the under consumption of fruit and vegetables, as well as modern agricultural methods employed which have prevented plants from producing adequate amounts of Salvestrol.

Salvestrols emerged out of a cancer drug discovery programme which has delivered several key pharmaceutical products (including Abirateronea, a breakthrough treatment for prostate cancer). Salvestrols’ effect on humans has since been backed by other prominent scientists. Case studies on diseased patients who have used Salvestrols with positive outcomes have been published in respected medical journals.

Salvestrol has been available as a dietary food supplement since 2004. It has been used by medical practitioners wanting to improve the health of their patients as well as the general public wanting to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Salvestrol was introduced to South Africa in 2012 and is available through pharmacies, health food stores and medical practitioners.

CYP-Support

Cancer patients are commonly deficient in key nutrients which are of particular importance not only for overall health but with respect to Salvestrols. CYP support was developed focusing on key nutrients in the correct ratios in their best available forms for increased absorption. We have compounded a single product to deliver everything into the convenience of a capsule versus multiple singular products.

Ingredient list:

Biotin

Biotin (Vitamin H), has been shown to stimulate production of CYP1B1, thereby elevating its level for increased Salvestrol metabolism. Biotin has also been shown to inhibit NFkB, a transcriptional factor that is important in tumour survival. *

Biotin should not be used during chemotherapy as it is a non-selective inducer of enzymes and will reduce the effectiveness of chemotherapy.

CYP Support – Contains 450mcg per capsule.

Magnesium

Magnesium stimulates the Salvestrol activation reaction. Research has indicated that the activity of CYP1B1 is reduced by 50% when adequate levels of magnesium are not present. It is believed 80% of the population are Magnesium deficient. Please note that should a person be undergoing Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy, their need for magnesium is greatly increased. We would suggest further supplementation via transdermal application.

CYP Support – Contains 325mg of Chelated Magnesium (Delivering 65mg of Elemental Magnesium)

Iron

CYP1B1, like other CYP enzymes, utilises iron, as its core, to oxidise various compounds that enter the body. This is the way in which CYP1B1 is able to metabolise Salvestrols into the metabolites that induce cell death in the diseased cell. Cancer sufferers are often anaemic, a situation that interferes with the biogenesis of rescue enzymes like CYP1B1.

CYP Support – Contains 25mg of iron bis-glycinate (Delivering 5mg of Elemental Iron).

Vitamin C

Dietary Sources of Vitamin c should be included to aid in the absorption of plant sources of iron. Vitamin C also stimulates the immune system to assist the body in getting rid of cell debris resulting from apoptosis. A further benefit of Vitamin C comes from it serving as a sacrificial antioxidant to prevent degradation of Salvestrols in the body.

CYP Support – Contains 65mg of Vitamin C from calcium ascrobate. This buffered form of Vitamin C is used to prevent increasing acidity in the body.

Vitamin D3

Vit D3 is a common deficiency in the general population and has a direct link to cancer. It is a misconception that we receive adequate levels of Vit D through sunshine. If this were the case 2 out 3 would not be Vit D deficient.

CYP Support – Contains 500iu of Vit D3.

Vitamin B3

Vitamin B3 or Nicotinamide has been shown to increase Salvestrol activation.

CYP Support – Contains 100mg of Vitamin B3.

Vitamin B12

The vitamin is crucial to life and to general health, being involved in almost every cellular system in the body. Over 300 enzymatic reactions use this vitamin in some way. Apart from dementia, fatigue and heart problems, some cancers (for example, breast cancer) are known to be associated with lowered levels of this vitamin.

Vitamin B12 is depleted through surgery, stress and poor diet. Impaired digestion or poor gut health also leads to Vitamin B12 deficiency. Often cancer patients follow a vegetarian / vegan nutritional protocol which requires the supplementation of B12. Fatigue, weakness, and compromised energy levels are common challenges amongst cancer patients and common symptoms of B12 deficiency.

CYP Support – Contains 100mcg of Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin regarded as the superior form of B12 supplementation.

CYP Support – While the product has been developed with cancer and Salvestrols in mind. It must be noted that its application is beyond cancer. We believe it would be a consideration in any female over the age of 13, those over the age of 50, digestive issues, and users of chronic medication for digestion (PPI) and those struggling with high levels of stress and fatigue.

Please contact us or email us at info@coynehealthcare.com if you require further information on CYP Support.
